Highly subjective so far, though today only having to heat one room (my study) rather than two (living room and study) is a definite plus anyway:

Historically we have had to bump up the house thermostat while turning on TRVs in kids' rooms to get them warm for bedtime.

Now, even without OpenTRV fitted in their rooms, we can 'boost'/bake any of the OpenTRV rooms if necessary, and thus can avoid overheating the well-insulated living room to achieve temperature targets elsewhere in the house.
