Hi,
I am talking to RadFan about exactly that.
So in RadFan's case swap the 12V fans for 5V (to be able to run off the same cheap and efficient microUSB phone-charger as OpenTRV) and leave out the temperature sensor because OpenTRV already knows when to switch it off. Nice big FET or similar on the boiler control output and we’re done.
