[OpenTRV-dev] Storage heating, dynamic demand, and OpenTRV

forgot to hit reply all....

it might be off topic, but my math teacher when i was in 8-9 grade made his
own system, he had both a wood burner, oil burner and a solar system for
hot water... the solar system only had a very tiny cylinder and the a heat
exchanger... all 3 system was coupled in series with an old but still very
sound and solid fuel oil tank... this tank feed all the rads and a bigger
hot water cylinder with a heat exchanger built in.

this oil tank was now used to store heat, he simple situated it in the
corner of the room but with plenty of space for about 200-300mm of
insulation all the way round...

for a uk system i would do almost the same.... i know that some solar
system (for hot water) do have an resistance heater built in to heat the
water early in the morning where you badly need the hot water.. maybe there
is even a hot water cylinder with just an electronic heater....

it can in fact be done lots of ways... the imagination is the limit
