Text and icon. There's no way to decode an icon if you don't understand it
but you can look up a word.

Radiator (or fire) icon with a '+' superimposed. Be careful to avoid
first-aid appearance.
36 is the nearest but I don;t think it emphasises boost pictorially - the
main graphical object is a radiator which is kind of obvious on a TRV.
My thermostat has a hand symbol - I think the intention is 'manual
override' rather than 'hotter, now'.
