Hi,
Given thermal response of boilers and rooms to changes is of the order of minutes to hours, I'd suggest that sampling faster than 1 minute is likely pointless.
Indeed, I think that the 2-minute cycle implied by the FHT8V isn't bad, and I throw in another minute's latency without seeming ill-effect.
