Same applies to AWS, Google, Backspace, Oracle. All of the big cloud providers are US based.

Not sure what point you were trying to make.

The fact being you can choose where you locate your data if that’s a concern. However as to data privacy and the reach of international government’s that is a separate and somewhat complicated discussion.
