Evohome still can't reliably connect to the internet.

It's 'clever' features (optimum start etc) get utterly bewildered by open
doors or weather compensation.

Setting it up (properly) is a ballache of fat finger presses on a resistive
touchscreen. No web interface for this.

You've got to do this repeatedly as valves inexplicably lose binding etc.
(~ 6 times in 18 months so far)

The box is shiny. The valves are quiet in operation. It's very expensive
for how buggy the software is and how naff the setup procedure is.
