First, just to be clear, I applaud the impressive work that has been
done here so far and see the wisdom of building something good and
simple first.

Now back to dreaming.

MAX! has its "Cube". Living Connect has its "Link". Evohome has its
"Touch". OpenEnergyMonitor has its "Base". If OpenTRV has a central
control unit then it gets to have a cool monosyllabic name too.

But seriously, that's a wheel that doesn't need re-inventing. For
hardware the emonBase could probably be repurposed and for software
something like domotiga could be used.
