Target price point is £10 for an all-in-one OpenTRV unit that includes the valve driver mechanics, maybe double that for a split unit like we have now.
I’m hoping for < £100 per typical household, which is a fraction of a typical heating bill.

PS. Had this snippet in an email from someone that’s just starting testing OpenTRV themselves: "I've now had three conversations with freelancers of various kinds who say the one thing they most need is a way for their office room to fire up the boiler when the rest of the house can stay cold. They all use electric heaters under their desks. Wonder how many people there are working from home and heating a whole house to avoid wearing three pairs of socks.” These are people that we really should be able to help!
